Rice in India

This Post is dedicated to all farmers in India. Happy Pongal All!

This is the System of Rice Intensification which ensures increased yield and minimum wastage.
This is farm where rice experimentation with various varieties is taking place. It is somewhere in Ghumla district in Jharkhand. 
This is an organic rice field in a tribal belt in Odisha. The land was reclaimed through using biofertilizers.

We sometimes make the mistake that since men own agri lands, that they are the main farmers. This is an award winning female farmer speaking at a farmer's meet in Bishnupur, Jharkhand.
